To All:

I received this email today from Sharon Day, Vice President Catalina Yachts.
While this is not an association event, I thought some of you would be interested. The association is not involved in the planning or costs. I'm just passing along the information.
Also, this post doesn't do justice to the original email formatting.

This is an incredible opportunity, wish I were on the Left Coast! I wonder whether LISCA would open one of their events to LIS C25/250 & Capri owners? I've lost track of who's Commodore there now...

In the past, I believe there was also an east coast event. If I remember correctly six or seven years ago it, or a similar event, was held in Mystic. As Catalina is now operating from the east coast maybe they do such events exclusively in Florida now?

I guess, I figure to just head south till the land on the starboard side ends then hang a right and keep going till you see the little canal then a right again and start looking for a little island. Sound good? By the way anybody know how much the toll is for the little canal? Do they take EZ-Pass or should I bring a roll of quarters.

Update:
I received an email reply from Sharon Day (Catalina Yachts)
There is no 2015 East Coast Rendezvous.
For 2016, Catalina Yachts is planning an East Coast Rendezvous in Florida.

It may not be Catalina Yachts-sanctioned but there is always the Long Island Sound Catalina Association (LISCA) who do rendezvous out east. Here's one coming up in a few weeks. Oyster Bay.
