So just got back seeing the blue Angels here in Annapolis. Had the best anchorage in town to see the show and will post some amazing pictures and videos when I get a minute. Fast winds after as well for a spirited sail, hit out top measured speed, 7kts! Posting photos soon!
Captain Rob & Admiral Alyson "David Buoy"-1985 C25 SK/SR #5053
I've seen the B.A. In Dayton years ago, and Pensacola, San Francisco, and Seattle more recently. Maybe I should add Annapolis, that would be a special venue. I'll add a special photo later from an anchorage during practice in Pensacola, their Summer home port.
Low Pass
Dave B. aboard Pearl 1982 TR/SK/Trad. #3399 Lake Erie/Florida Panhandle
We saw them in '99 flying over the USNA commencement--flying so low over town they were setting off car alarms and knocked some things off shelves in a store I was in. I clearly saw one of the pilots as he "crossed" Main Street.
A few years later, a HS friend of my older duaghter's became a member of the team--quite an honor. He probably broke something on Main Street, too!
