I have chartered a boat out of san diego before. I used harbor yacht club, you can walk from the airport....

they were not the best equipped boats, but they were the cheapest.... you could rent the capri 22 or the 270 for a day

Hello Scott.. No in the end We didnt go.. I went to the marina took an exam and took a look at the sailboats.. They have like 15 cat22s the new generations plus other bigger ones. We (my copilot friend) back to the airport to recieve the mechanicn who was gonna work on the aircraft and told us that the plane was going to be grounded at least until the next day.. So we decided to go sailing. Rented a car, went to buy food and drinks for the boat.. That took us about an hour and for some reason decided to go to the airport to pick some stuff that was on our luggage.. And booom! The mechanic told us he would be done in a couple of hours to finish fixing the aircraft.. Ohh it was a beautiful day that day.. Too bad we couldnt go, well work comes first haha.. Maybe next time, but now I know where to go.. Thanks a lot!

Thanks
