The (2) LED swivel & spin lights I installed in the V-berth years ago have finally crapped out.
So I looked online and found replacements. Only $17.11 for a 3pk.
Only problem is they sent me the wrong item. It is supposed to be a 3pk with 5 LED bulbs on ea.
But Jet.com is giving me a refund plus a $5.99 credit. So I have to reorder but now the price is only $11.
I'll replace the two in the V-berth and put one in the pantry under the galley sink.



Also found a replacement Ni-MH battery for my old Uniden Atlantis 250 handheld VHF.

I have a few puck lites also. Got them from HD. Last year 2 weren't working anymore but I was able to replace the AAA batteries by removing the back cover. Good for another 3-4 years I hope.

Lowes Home Improvement stores sells a three fixture LED puck-light set that I've mounted over the galley and cooler area on Passage. The puck lights normally run on a 12VDC plugin power supply "wall wart" which I replaced with a cigar-lighter plug, and the fixtures provide lots of light in a normally very dark area. I use stick-on, double-sided foam tape adhesive to mount the pucks and to manage the #24 wires.
For me, alkaline batteries are a non-starter. They always die when you need them most, and will often leak out some very noxious gunk fouling my appliances after about a year of disuse.
I've invested quite a bit into NiMH rechargeable batteries, but their life between charges is shorter than the usable life of an alkaline.
