All the yellow items (stuff required before haul out) complete! This Saturday going to the boat and taking out all the removable pieces of wood from the interior, old man will be sanding and refinishing them while I sand the remaining wood that's in place. Then the fiancé will join and we'll both scrub down the entire interior with a Clorox type product. Hoping to get the interior all refinished in time for the new cushions that will be ready in a week or so. Making some progress here! Good luck to the rest!

Whole bunch is done. Interior is complete and waiting for the cushions, rudder is finished and on the boat, motor is serviced and on the boat, Windows and other miscellaneous leaks were traced and sealed, power washing this weekend then hauling for the bottom job and other stuff. After that, throw the sails on and sail the sucker!

You said you patched the window leaks. How'd you go about doing that? A thick layer of schmutz around the bead?

Haven't verified that I was sucessful yet, but I feel pretty good about it. I first identified that two of the ports were leaking from the glass to frame seal and one was leaking from the frame to fiberglass seal.

Previously, I rebuilt the windows with all new gaskets and seals and they really didnt work great/I didn't do a good enough job. After a little bit I cut out that bit of rubber on the outside and ran a bead of silicone. That maybe worked for awhile but looking at it now it was all deteriorated so I cut and scraped it all out, did a detailed tape job and used white Life Seal. Turned out looking pretty good, so hope it holds up.

Rob, white polysulfide caulk will not shrink or harden so it should last a few seasons at least. Good news is unlike silicone, you can remove it cleanly and start all over again. That said, polysulfide is best between two surfaces where it won't be worn. Others like butyl tape.

Well two of the fixed ports and the grab rail that leaked are no longer leaking. One of the ports is still going so I'm thinking it was the frame to fiberglass seal that is leaking on that one not the glass to frame seal that I thought. I will try that seal on that port to see if it takes, if not, I'll redo the glass to frame again. Only other leaks are from the opening ports (I have the ones you can't rebuilt) and somewhere at the companionway which I think I have a fix to. Boat is at the yard and getting hauled for the week today.

Well, just splashed. Riggers are tuning as I type and organize the stuff going back on the boat. Have gotten a ton of stuff done with a little bit more to go. Wish me luck!

Got the topside all power washed and looking super fresh. Blindingly clean especially compared to before. Ran all my lines and rigging and he's all set to go now! A number of minor things still to take care of over time but everything important is complete and have a few sails planned this week/weekend. So excited!

finally got to do our shakedown sail of the season and with perfect weather of 9kts fading to 6 on the way in and 70deg. out! Everything is where it needs to be and ready and DB is sailing like a dream! 6kts recorded!

I got my PoliGlow done - absolutely blindingly shiny. Still need to complete the bottom painting and clear out the maintenance items from the cabin. May 8 looks like my splash date. A week later than normal for me, but better than Memorial Day!

It's 24.5' luff by 9.5' foot, believe that's the same as stock size if that's what you're referring to.
