The diameter of the mail sail slide on my '83 C25 is 3/8 in. diameter. They seem to be small for the mast track and they tend to hang up when raising and lowering the main. In fact, it's almost impossible to use the cockpit led halyards since the cars h

I think the stock 3/8" all plastic mainsail luff slugs pretty much suck.<img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle> I'm planning to switch to the 1/2" nylon ones with stainless steel bails. I installed these on two previous boats (Light

Thanks for your reply. The two Ventures I had were fit with 1/2" nylon slides with stainless bails. They worked great.

Try putting a little liquid soap on them to lube the slot.
