This was an accidental double post. Dave B. just showed me how to delete them, but now I cannot find the trashcan for the life of me! Help....FAQ didn't help me. I just don't see the icon anywhere and nothing else seems to work.

Look at your name on the post to be deleted. (top left corner of the post) Go to the right past the date and time of post the last icon is the trashcan.

Gary,

The ashcan and edit icons are only displayed when you are logged in. Scroll to the top of the page and insert your "Username" and "Password," and then click on "Login."

I believe you cannot delete a new topic once you have started it. You can only delete replies to a topic. When you start something, we're stuck with it.

Dave: I think you are right. Sorry. I don't know how this ended up in there twice, but I will try to be more careful. I think one can only "elimi-date" a reply. Nuts....

Thanks for the help. Maybe I can spell a bit, but I sure am ignorant when it comes to technology!

Yup...I posted this reply, and sure enough, there is the icon...I can't do anything except erase and replace the double post with something else.....maybe an apology???

The general rule is that when you're interacting within your Web browser, a single-click on anything is all you need--a double-click may be interpreted as two actions. Many of us have done it at one time or another...
