This morning I was looking for through old posts for a thread on chaulking. And discovered that I could list all the posts for the past year and scan each title looking for what I want. Seems like there has to be an easier way - besides asking y'awl who always seem to know everything, so how does one find fairly quickly posting pertaining to a specific topic.

Are you looking for information on:

1) caulking (sealing things up)
or
2) chalking (the deterioration of fiberglass gelcoat)?

Awhile ago I offered to proof read for someone, and apparently I need someone to do that for me. but I guess IClamBeach has done that for me!

I'm interested in chalking - when I wipe my hand on the topsides it comes away white.

I'm pretty pleased with the way the 3M Fiberglass Restorer works. Combines mild abrasive with cleaning/sealing agents.

Takes some elbow grease though.
