We're in, we're in. This morning my wife went to the lake to clean out the club house while I took the kids to TBall. In the afternoon when we got there the wind was blowing and the lake is almost full. She said go get the boat. It was kind of late by the time I got it all together, but I decided lets go anyway. One of the club members was having a party and I grabbed a couple of his landlubber friends to help raise the mast. Got the mast up as the wife and kids returned from rest break. backed into the water and Casey, the elder 6, and I motored over to the docks. Yes we motored, but we were still on the water.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> Now I got to go back and clean up the boat from all the tree stuff that accumulated during time on the hard.

I was looking forward to starting that kind of work - getting the remaining ice and leaves off the boat but mother nature decided we hadn't enough so Thursday evening we started having a winter ice and snow storm. Lasted through yesterday (Saterday). We had a half an inch of ice and enough snow for the snow plow guy to come and plow. <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> Had been rid of that stuff, and now we need some more warm weather, which isn't being predicted until next w/e. <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>

In a couple of weeks the club is scheduled to put the docks back in place. We run lines around the system and pull sections from shore to where they belong. Even doing that gives a day on the water, and it feels good to be "on the water" [*D]. Looking forward to it, even tho' I suspect the work parties will be cancelled due ice.
