When I look at my electrical panel, without touching anything yet, it looks like there's a way to get wires coming down into the stainless steel tube.....and if I were to sardine myself into the galley cabinet I could snake a few wires into the vacant switches on the panel from there, and install a bus in the back of the cabinet to run power to, for starters, the stereo, which i saw installed into the side of the cabinet on another thread, that looked nice. Then also maybe a 12V outlet. and a volt meter.....
What kind of horror/success stories are there tapping into the electrical panel?

The electrical panel is straightfoward...no problems there. Getting a wire behind the galley cabinet is a little tougher but doable.

I have come to assess boat wiring by estimating the time it will take to do it...and then tripling that number.
