Supposedly a kid's book, but fine for adults who haven't grown up yet is We Didn't Mean To Go To Sea by Arthur Ransome, one of the Swallows and Amazons series he wrote. All are good.
Because I didn't see it listed in this thread, I thought I would add Kay Cottee's book 'First Lady' - It's an account of her record breaking non-stop circumnavigation voyage. It's probably the best sailing book I've read. I think you can only get it online from Australia, but it's worth the effort.
For petes sake dont forget the one that started it all "The Riddle of the Sands" and there are four or five books by Maurice Griffiths as well in addition to "The Magic of the Swatchways". Ron srsk Orion.
