This is too light for a C-25-- you need the 1000.

Will it handle a 250 WB? And if it would, and you don't want it would you pass me the info John? (sub rosa) <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

With all due respect to Dave, and with the caveat that I may be wrong here, I THINK that the Autohelm 800 and 1000 are essentially the same, with simply a new numbering system. Ray-marine (which bought out Autohelm) still services them and supplies parts, etc. I have an Autohelm on my C25, but I am not sure of the number. I THINK it's a 1000, but may be an 800. It's about 10 years old or so and has needed service once. I singlehand, so use it a lot, especially when motoring some distance. A Raymarine website could give you specs. I don't have a link.

OSCAR: the seller say's its and older unit..obsolete...hard to get any
parts....not a good purchase....unless it's a give away price.I think
your better off buying a SIMRAD new.
