Do not drop your rudder vertically from a height of 3 feet onto your big toe as you will fracture it, as well as split it open causing you to require stitches. Take it from me, it hurts too. Maybe I should have titled the subject "Another dumbass move by Frank" Oh well, I really didn't want to finish up some of the projects going on the boat so I could finally get it back in the water. Sailing?
You fractured your rudder and split it open? I dunno, but epoxy'd probably work better'n stitchin' it together.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Frank: I believe your 89 even has the new foam-cored rudder--be glad you didn't drop the original, plywood cored, waterlogged rudder from my '85. Your piggy would've been roadkill.
