It seems as if the forum is the only current activity on this web site. Does anyone know how current site is? I have inquired twice in one year about the photo gallery and the membership directory, both of which I forewarded and still dont know what happened to my mail since there was no reply. I thought it was because of new membership which I dont consider myself to be now. Can someone comment on the updating of site or maybe I am not an actual member?

George, I know that we have a new web editor. You might want to try and contact the commodore via email directly to get the information.

Admiral Baumgart (Karen, aka Spike) has just assumed the job of web master for this site. The two of us will basically be working together. We have downloaded the entire current contents and are re-formatting things for Microsoft FrontPage (for our ease of maintenance). Since we just started this project 2 weeks ago we are ready just this minute to post your new content, but we will be real soon.

Meanwhile, you can reach us at the following addresses:

jbaumgart@starrstuff.com (me)
spike@starrstuff.com (your new volunteer web master)

If you have photos to post or other news or information you would like to see on the site, just email them to us. If you have hard copy photos and want us to scan them, we will be happy to do so. In that case, mail the stuff to:

Karen Baumgart
PO Box 2437
Valley Center, CA.
92082

We'll return it to you when the scanning and conversion is done.

I am happy to be part of this great group of people. We are willing to donate our time and talents to the web site.

I wish to say this as gently as I possibly can...this is the kind of thread that should not be in a specific forum...but rather should be in the general section.

The forums were split so that C25 and C250 owners didn't have to wade thru the nuances of the other boat. While it may be easier to url directly to "your boat forum", to post general information valuable to both boats in one of the specific forums will likely leave the other group uninformed.

I quite frankly find this disconcerting... if we must read each forum to get general stuff... lets put it all back in one pot and save the headache of having to check three forums.

When Karen and I get the project off the ground we will announce the status on the General Forum and change the contact information on the various web pages. Everything is kind of in transition right now. Meanwhile, George asked so I answered.
