After a winter of sharing about the ice on the Great Sacandago Lake, I'm happy to report that the ice is gone!

Unfortunately the lake is holding alot of extra water right now and if goes up another 3 feet osmepneo will float of her cradle. I went to the marina to get ob on the motor bracket this weekend and to get osmepneo uncovered so I could start getting ready for splash. The high lake water means I don't get any access to her until the water drops. Maybe we'll get in by September!

I feel for you Don. It's so frustrating to have sailing weather and no way to take out the boat...we spent 2 months last year with a similar problem.

Don,

Send some of that water to Lake Erie because I'm having the opposite problem. With the recent low water levels here, I have to wait for the dredging to be completed before I can get in and out of the marina.

Don,
I went up Sunday to pay the other half of my dockage fees, I am sure
you have a better feel for how high the lake is by having a residence there. At Park Marine Base the docks are in but you can't launch anywhere because the boat launches that I seen are under water by quite a bit. The ice only went out of the shielded bays on Easter Sunday in Northville. I anticipate Memorial Day Weekend for splashing.
It is frustrating when we have such a short season to begin with. I guess it is better than "low" water. Hope to see you down by your club this year. "Bear" on the hard driveway ready to splash.
