What goes here. Im getting two seperate Catalina sites. Identical but not the same when it comes to posting. I posted here and went to another computer. My post was gone. I posted from there and came back to the other computer. Post wasnt there. Its the Twilight Zone all over again.

I don't know for sure. We have not changed anything on the forum web site. Possibly your browser is caching a previous view of the forum. Under the "View" menu item (on your Internet Explorer browser) pull down to "Refresh". You should see your post.

Also, browser's the Back button will likely grab an old copy of the index from the computer's memory, while the General Forum link should refresh the index from the Web site.

There is defintely something strange going on. . .

For the last two days, when I come to the site via the "favorites" bookmark which I've used for the past year, I get a message saying that that web site no longer exists! I've had to manually type in the address for the organization homepage to get to it, although it is exactly the same as what is stored as my "favorites" bookmark. I 're-saved' the site as a new 'favorite' and it seems to be working fine again. Maybe something was slightly changed on the server site which causes a glitch.

I have gotten the same thing. I think this stems from the rebuilding they are doing on the website

You've provided me some more facts which might explain things.

As I've said, there are really two sites in use here. We are deleting one of them and merging them. Lets say this is site A and the other is site B. If your browser favorite pointed to B you would automatically be brought here (auto redirect). If you pointed to A you would be OK.

Now that we are deleting site B it's possible that people relying on the auto redirect will have the same problem.

We will look into it.

I reported this to Spike, my wife and your web master. She immediately thought of some problems with eliminating some of the scripts on site B. We are looking into the problems and should have it fixed soon.

Sorry, we spent the entire weekend sailing, so it's going to take some time this week. You know where the priorities are on the first warm, sunny, calm seas weekend in months!
