I have a problem with dark spots that have appeared on the hull. I haven't noticed them before today when I was trying to clean and wax the sides.

One of the guys at the marina seems to think that it's mold between the laminates. The boat is a 1987 and I haven't had any problems with leaks or water in the interior. I've had her for about 4 years. We just moved to the Orlando area back in November. We've been having 90 degree days lately which could explain why it's is appearing now.

Has anyone run into this? I'm open to any suggestion.

Baffled

Thx Clay

Are they really small and all over the area affected and they look like they are kind of embedded in the gelcoat? If so, get some bathtub mildew stain remover for fiberglass tubs - Tilex or some such. Should take it right off.
