Does anyone know where to get replacement bulbs for the light at the middle of the mast and the light at the top of the last? I check the West Marine catalog, and if I looked at it correctly, the are $18 each! That seems rediculous to me.
Ben, The one at the top (anchor light) can be replaced with a buck and a half bulb from a hardware or an auto store. I haven't found a replacement for the center or steaming light one yet and am going to pop for a CD one for there.
Thanks Ellis, on my boat, they seem to be the same kind of bulb. About an inch and a half long (roughly), with a dimple on each end of the metal cap. I'm wondering if your's is different from mine.
The first generation lamps (1981 and earlier boats) are 2 for 2.45, part # Z2012. 2nd generation (1982 and later) are 6.95 a pair, part # Z2007. However I agree with the others, go to your local auto parts store and let them match them up for you and save the shipping charge.
