This is the last call for anyone still sitting on the fence for this year's Regatta at Syracuse, Indiana, Father's Day Weekend June 13-15. Please get your forms and payment in by May 31.

We'll have a respectable showing, and hope to have a dozen boats racing. The Dinner Cruise is filling up fast! So far we have about 30 people coming, some even without their Catalinas, so either way don't miss out on the fun. A final info mailing is going out soon to those who have registered.

Hope to see you at Syracuse, Indiana. I'll be on one of the big Renker powerboats we'll have as committee boats. Bill Meinert has gotten the local population really excited about and supporting the event. Even the local radio station is running ads!

While I'm very much looking forward to it, it will be bittersweet, as this year's Regatta will be my last official act as Commodore; I'm stepping down from Association duties. The good news, (as it is for all boat owners sooner or later), is that I've sold my C25. As such, I need to turn over the reins to someone else. But Lucy and I are looking for a C30, so I do intend to keep my feet wet!

Ed... thanks for the steady course you've helmed. Hope you join the many other past owners who continue to participate.

No need to remind you, but for others who may not know... the association doesn't require or expect ownership of a C25 or c250 as requirement for membership or participation, other of course than as an officer or racing skipper to National Regatta.

I haven't even read the application yet. Seems that I'm going to have to pass as I won't know if I can break away until closer to race day <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> .
