Just noticed that 77Gypsy *used to be* a real regular and that his last post was:

'have any of you done blue water sailing in a 25?'

Yeah, I was reading a news blurb about 3 young sailors had to be rescued from a C30 out in the gulf stream last week.

They were caught in a fairly mild storm but were inexperienced and the boat was in poor condition. Bad combination for going to sea.

Currently maintaining two holes in the water...'77 Venture 23 and new to the family,

i have not yet done any blue water sailing yet, just off the message boards the past 2 weeks. i actually haven't even sailed gypsy yet.
