Has anyone purchased cockpit cushions for the C-25 recently.
I went to the Web site C-Cushions, but $420.00 seems kind of steep.
Has anyone had them made by a local canvas guy and if so how much did they run. I thought this might be something good to ge

I found a cheap alternative. The seats were just too hard with nothing and I thought $400 for cockpit cushions on a $7000 boat was a little steep. I found one of those closed-cell foam pool mattresses at Sam's Club for $42 and split it down the middle t

As a middle of the road alternative, I've been very pleased with my cockpit cushions from Catalina, which cost just under $200 two years ago. They are white vinyl-covered foam and fit and look great.

I would recommend against the vinyl over foam. If they get wet inside it will take a big effort to get them dry. This has happened to me several times when sailing in rain or leaving them our overnight. If you don't dry the inside foam the will mildew

Thanks Chris, I contacted Catalina and they do offer the cockpit cushions for $273.00 plus shipping and handling. That might be the way to go. I also spoke with a local canvas guy and he is supposed to get back to me with a price.
