Well, it's finall over. "At Last" will be launched tomorrow at 3:30 in Lake Cumberland, (south central Kentucky). She was originally known as "Pizzazz" and the "Pizzazz II". After wanting a sailboat for nearly 30 years AND after working on her since the middle of April, she gets wet, at last.:)

I'll be singlehanding her all summer, so if you,re around look me up at the Jamestown Marina.

Congratulations! I know the feeling. I just splashed my boat in my home lake two days ago and sailed her there today for the first time this year.

"At Last" Sounds like a perfectly appropriate name for your vessel... enjoy ! Just something about being on the water....

Yea, Steve.

osmepneo went wet last week, and when I went to move to the club the marina operator already had. Mmmmm? I wonder how much that will cost?

But it is good to have wet, and look forward to sailing herthis coming w/e.

Oh, Milby, now be truthful! Yes you went wet at Brookville a couple of days ago, but it went wet before that at Nationals. Where you did very well!

Congratulations!!

Splash is about a week away for me though the waters of the North Channel are still below 40 degrees. I usually don't need much heat in July and August but this season I'm thinking of using a small butane heater for chilly mornings.

good luck and have great sailing. I have always wanted to trail down to lake cumberland for a week or so. I'll bet it is beautiful in the fall. When I sang with Opera Memphis there were people associated with the company who kept sail boats there.

Splash, I'll tell you about Splash. The other night at the end of our Sailsoltis day we were coming to the dock at night, it was dark. The admrial was stepping off of the boat onto the dock and missed the dock. Now that was a splash. Especially after I jumped in after her to assist in retrival.
