The manual says: Mainsheet - 3/8" x 75' Boom vang - 3/8" x 35'
The type of line is personal preference, beyond not getting something really cheap or too weak for the application. I like something with a soft feel like Samson Trophy braid.
I guess I'm the oddball! (let that one lie, guys!) Both my mainsheet and vang are 5/16" - plenty big enough in my humble opinion and creates less friction. The vang cleat should be available at the cockpit - that cleat block at the mast base is nothing but a !@#$%^&* Derek
