The thread over on the C25 section dealing with a fouled outboard is an interesting one. I've always been amazed at how little grass or weeds it takes to kill speed. Once, the dingy wouldn't reach speed to get up on plane... a check (clear water) revealed just one small strand of weed trailing from each side of the lower unit...it didn't seem like much drag to kill the dink from planing...

The incident left a great respect for how much drag can be caused by seemingly very little.
