Yep,

The H2O LOU is sold.

May I offer one last splicing of the main brace from her cockpit. Let's wish her well. She's a fine old boat.

I finally found a buyer at a reasonable price.

She'll be fishing out of St. Simons Island, GA now.

Congrats Paul, Know you've wanted to use your investment in H20 to get back into sailing for some time...

Hope the proceeds aren't needed elsewhere and you find a sailboat to your liking. Even so, you will miss that girl a bit.

Hi Arlyn,

Yea, I'll miss her. The Marinette was a very nice boat. If we were on a prettier lake, or the coast, I would have kept her.

Here's a funny thing. I don't like being on a boat that can't sail. I learned as a youngster that as long as I had a puff of wind I could get home. I don't like relying on engines.

Bruce Ebling had a very nice C-25 but, alas, he has posted her as sold. I needed to sell the Marinette before buying another boat.

I'll keep looking, and thanks for your support,

Paul

Hi Frank,

Thanks for the encouragement.

I'm 98% sure it will be another Catalina 25. This time I'm keeping it. No more boat buying and selling. I'm burned out on it.

Money is a little tight right now so I may just hold off for awhile.

Are you going back to the Keys this year? How about the Bahamas?

Way to go Paul. The albatross is finally off your neck. It's a good feeling I know. And now the search begins. Have fun you deserve it.

Hi Paul,
No, I'm not going back to the keys this year, not enough vacation time. I only have one week left in October. I'm thinking of maybe Chocktawhatchee bay (Destin and Ft. Walton) or maybe the Chesapeake bay area, and then go to the Annapolis show.

I'm still trying to sell my 22. It definitely is a depressed market, good for buyers.

If you can find an 89 wing keel 25, you definitely need to check it out.

Hi Frank,

The Destin Ft. Walton area is really beautiful. You could sail on the inside or outside.

Your 22 sounded like a nice boat. It'll sell.

I'm looking for a wing. Cash is low but I have a credit card with some room. OH MAN!!!! The pesky boat bug is back.

Hi Don,

Thanks for the support.

I can't wait to go sailing again.

Whew! Looks like some skinny water there! You may need a C-250 WB (with an air pump for when you run up on a bar).
