Another generic sailing question... Last season we had the worst crop of huge nasty spiders late in August. Nothing would keep them at bay. Their favorite spot to lounge was in my roller furled head sail. Consequently, I have several huge dark greenish/brown spot stains at the bottom of my two-season old beautiful head sail. Does anyone know what I could use to try to clean them??? The sail was brand new from Catalina and I don't want to damage it by cleaning it with the wrong chemical. Thanks again!

HAD SPIDER PROBLEMS WHEN I WAS STILL ON THE LAKE. SPRAYED ALL THE LINES COMING TO THE BOAT AND ALL THE STANDING RIGGING AS WELL AS CRACKS AND CREVACES WITH A PRODUCT CALLED "HOME DEFENSE". WORKED GREAT NO SPIDERS FOR THE SUMMER SEASON. FOUND IT AT HOME DEPOT JOHN ON MS ACHSA #77
