I have seen some references in prior posts to electric tilt motors. I haven't found any outboards that have this feature. Who on this forum use this? Do you like it, and would you get it again. Thanks for the info Chris
The high-thrust, 4-stroke Yamaha 8 (and probably 9.9) have a power tilt option (which adds some weight). I believe I saw something that suggested Honda would offer it--maybe it was for their new 15/20 models. On my Honda 8, it would be silly--I only need to tilt it one notch with the bracket up, and it takes almost no effort. The further you tilt it, the less effort it takes since at some point, the powerhead counterbalances the lower unit.
