Somebody else will have the Catalina Parts number, but meanwhile, you might also want to try Catalina Direct. You can get their number from their site at www.catalinadirect.com. Good folks, know our boats, and have lots of upgrades and parts for them.

I just had a really botched order from Catalina Direct. I'm a bit discouraged with them at the momemt. I wrote the owner a letter, maybe he will subdue my anger a bit towards them at the moment :) Do they have a catalog of Catalina 25 parts?
Hi Mark... I'll offer the opinion that your experience is unusual. Any supplier can get an order wrong, but from my experience, CD is a valuable resource for Catalina owners--particularly C-22 and C-25. The factory does an exemplory job of supplying replacement parts--more than most builders do. But CD goes a step further, supplying upgrades as well as replacements. They also keep records on what boats we own, and understand those boats. Both the factory and CD should be considered as sources, and both are good reasons for selecting the C-25.

Thanks Don, for the handbook info. I will order that book tomorrow. It appears to be a great resource.
I'm sure you're right, Dave. I have not heard anything negative about Catalina Direct before. I was very suprised myself. They sent me a halyard plate, but failed to tell me that the holes may not line up. This was a bit stressful. Then they took an order for a complete split backstay, and failed to tell me that it was back ordered, and to find out later, they had ordered a single backstay. I cancelled the order once I lost the trust in the person helping me. I think next time I must insist on talking with a "tech" instead of the receptionist.
Thanks,

Mark: I have to admit that I knew about the hole alignment problem because somebody on this forum had already reported it. However, I think the CD person warned me, as well.
By all means, tell them about your concerns. They've gotten plenty of cudos here--a wake-up call every once in a while is useful.
