We depart Texas for the Great Lakes Monday morning for a month of sailing the North Channel... Just checked the buoy off Alpena, Mich in Northern Lake Huron... water temp is 46 deg compared to 64 last summer on the same day. I think this may mean no swimming this year...

Good news is, I haven't seen any icebergs flying over it (me, not the bergs) in a couple of weeks now......<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
You might try the Lake Erie Islands. Water is clear and around 70 degrees. Tall ships should be passing though the islands this Wednesday on their way from Cleveland to Toledo.

Have a great trip and we look forward to reports on your North Channel sailing. What a wonderful way to promote the c25/250 as a cruising boat than to be able to read about cruises and rondevous (sp) on these pages. Keep us posted on your trip, as you can.
