Does anyone know where I can get the ones that lead toward the inside of the cockpit. On my '82 sr sk they go straight out making it hard to control them while on my friends 84 tr fk they lead into the cockpit. His use a wheel connected to the clam cleat that directs the line to the pit. Does harken make something for this purpose?

Jonathan - here's the mod that I made for the traveler on "This Side Up"
<img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b3df03b3127cce93a53fc55a7a0000001510" border=0>

It uses 3 turning blocks and a small cam cleat (with fairlead) on each side. I also used 3/16" line.
Hope this helps!
Derek

My traveler cam cleats lead into the cockpit from the transom. If I remember correctly, the Catalina Direct catalog has the upgrade kit, including the forward leading cleats.

Although, I've been planning on something similar to Derek's rig for ease of use. Thanks, Derek, for the great visual! It answers alot of questions I had about how to do it.

Dave, my Nissan 8 h.p. came with that remote control/electric start. The only extra I had to buy were the control cables - and it was a pain to find ones short enough! (The ones I had to get were at least 3' too long so there's a web of cables on the outside of the transom secured by padeyes!)
