Hmmmm. . . I think I can somehow manage to trailer 'Ruah' the 75 yards to the ramp! You can absolutely count me in! Don't know how I missed this thread earlier, otherwise I would have responded sooner. Come 'hell or high water' (last year's flood?), I'll find a way to make my schedule fit!
BTW, have you talked to ??? (can't remember his name), the couple who bought Rick Evans' 250 WK over on 'D Dock'? Maybe they would like to join in the fun. Also, there is a 250 WK that must hail from Crane's Mill Marina, I believe hull number 648 or so. I've seen him on the lake several times (usually 'motor-sailing' for some reason) but have never talked to him. Maybe we could track him down, too. Last thought, maybe Mark Melchoir would be willing to come down from Austin with his boat.

Hey - I just got made one of those Master Marine Consultants! Can the other two tell me on what we consult ??? Derek
How far from Battle Ground, WA? I would love to sail Encore! on a regatta with other folks from around the country, but my PU only gets about 10 miles per gallon and less with the C25 behind her. Man, would I love to do this; I just don't know if it makes any real practical sense.
Gary B. - I'd love to see you on Canyon Lake but it's one heck of a ways from Battle Ground (it's 5 hours in the air if you fly!)
Bren - I intend to talk to the new owners of Rick's boat this weekend. There are now more C250's willing to come than C25's...maybe this is doable after all... Derek

I'm not one of the other two [now four], but from what I've seen the answer is "everything".
And the rest of us are very lucky to have you and the Admirals take such an active interest in educating and encouraging the rest of us.
Thanks!

Congratulations Derek! What to consult on?... Like any consultant, pick a topic you know little about, on which nobody actually asked a question, then find out the answer from them, reword it slightly and give it back to them, and send them a bill for your time and expenses--including the drink they bought you.

Dave - I like your ideas! Sounds like you have experience in this sort of thing! Derek
JB - thanks for the compliment to us more experienced guys - it's greatly appreciated! To paraphrase Delta Air Lines "I love to sail, and I hope it shows!" Derek
