Does anyone have a set of used ones? i have a standard rig.. i need to find the cheapest way possible to buy them i am jobless <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle> i need my boat running to regain sanity!!
Go to sailnet.com... into the store... and search on 'slug'...
You'll see a variety of them.. all plastic ones (not recommended) cost 50 cents and the ones with stainless inserts cost a little over a dollar apiece.
There's no sales tax or shipping !

You probably won't find the slugs any cheaper than at SailNet. Before ordering from them, check to see if they are in stock because when I ordered some last year I had to wait about a month because they were on backorder.
West marine shows them @ .49 per slug for plastic and approximately $ 2.50/$300 per for stainless depending on size of the barrel. Take one of your old ones in for a match.
Sorry to hear about your joblessness, wish you the best.
