I saw in Boat US that the most popular bran of boat in the US ia Catalina, with over 2% of all boats in the country. Pretty good track record.

There is good reason for it. Price, value, and reliability its the best boat for the buck $$$$$. Gota love em!

Hey Cap'n Dave. It's the printed version, this month. I don't have it in front of me, but I think the article is entitled "The Perfect Boat" or "In Search of the Perfect Boat" or something like that. The boat's name is Sojourn, with several pictures.

More Catalinas than Bayliners ???? I can see Catalina being the most popular sailboat... but there's lots of runabouts around.

At our club it's Grady White by at least 5-1. I assume BUS is counting sailboats.

Interesting differences in the brand market-shares between the coasts... haven't seen that many Grady-Whites out here.

Bayliners, SeaSwirls, BlueWater, Arima...
