Dave: Same here, last year! It took several calls to straighten it out. I paid them their money, but lost a number of issues in the interim. Never again......I expected better treatment from them. There's another subscription I can do without! (See D

I did the same. Sent off for a free trial copy from several sailing mags. Trying to find just one with content that related to Smaller boats. Sailing Magazines(Reality Check)post. Ive delt with those collection boys before and my advice is stick to your g

You can also threaten to file suit againast them for "Defamation of Credit" - I guarantee it will be the last that you hear from them!

I had subscribed to Practical Sailor for several years and when the three ring binder was full decided to subscribe no longer. Then the dunning began and as mentioned here by others it took a few phone calls to straighten things out.

Hi Gang,

Sounds like Dan Spurr is more interested in the $ than customer service these days. Maybe he has to make payments on a new Sundeer 64 :).

I dumped PS several years ago because the price was so high. I thought they were getting alittle too p

The year I got PS I found about 2 articles that helped me and when I went to the web site 1 article from the archives cost ½ a years subscription price to download. What crock!<img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif bor

John, do that please if you know where to send it. You might wait until the response slows down and you have more comments listed. I bit the bullet and subscribed for a year. After that they wouldn't leave me alone. I get billed about every 6 weeks as

my experience with practical sailor went a little different:

i responded to their trial offer and received 6 issues then
they abruptly stopped - never any requests to extend
or threats about non-received payment. about 6 months later
