Thanks to helpfull replies in my previous post regarding cushions. After a couple of weeks shopping the sales and on e-bay I am nearing the completion WAY under budget. It was not hard. My wife has all the sewing essentials. I bought my own machine in case I screwed it up! I would likley never hear the end of that! I just kind of winged it to make the covers work. I followed most of the details the originals used. I can get more detailed photos if anyone needs them. It could be a fun winter project. Here is the link.

Nice cushions, What fabric or material did you cover with? Looks like a vinyl cover in the pics. I am thinking of recovering my cushions as well and like the look you got. Any info is great.

I found the fabric on ebay. Here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=26451&item=2426607908

I bought 18 yds which is more than enough. The fabric is kind of shiny and just a little bit stretchy. I used vinyl on the bottoms. Jo-anns has a marine grade vinyl that is only $3 a yd when on sale. I bought the button forms at walmart and you cover the buttons with the fabric. Unless you picked up one of my cushions and examined it closely you would never know. I hope this helps, Tom.

"Shot of the Aft. Notice the foul looking cushions."

Hey...those cushions look exactly like ours!! Well maybe ours are in better shape than those were. In fact your boat looks just like mine; same color combo (probably because our boat being a 1989 wing/tall might have something to do with this). New cushions look great.

We did our cushions about 6 or 7 years ago. May be getting close to time to do again. Really enjoyed your photos. Ours is an 80 so nice to see photos of a newer boat.

Great job on your cushions!
