I just purchased a Thetford 875 head. Haven't even used it yet, but my initial opinion is high. It mounted easily, appears to be well designed and built well. I like the pump-out fittings as well and the liquid level indicator.
Great, Keep us posted. How did you mount it? Ed Montegue had a pretty cool box for one to sit in and not worry about movement. Was not sure if you had to cut into the pedestal that the original head is sitting on or not for the support. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks dan CK 1 86 TR/FK
I purchase the head from the Outdoor Super Store. The price was fair, and they had some inexpensive snap shackles I wanted :) They advertised free shipping, but of course it didn't apply to the toilet :( It arrived right away.
I mounted it with the two plastic slide assy's that came with it. They required pilot holes and screws to hold them down. They are kind of small and light, but we'll see.
