I am considering adding to my 250 WK (year 2000)the National Standard MD150 multi-display instrument for speed and depth readings and want to use the through hull transducers. Has any one used both through hull transducers on the 250 WK and comments on where best to locate them?
Thanks

My 2000wk through hull transducers are located in the V-berch right in front of the water tanks. They are mounted side by side port to starboard. I have an older model Standard MD100.

Thanks, I am having the boat hauled soon for a new bottom paint job and so appreciate the advise. How do like the MD100?

It works great. I had it installed at time of purchase. The only thing it does not do is communicate with the WS150(wind speed) that I had installed 2 years later. The MD150 will communicate with the WS150
