I made a new teak outboard motor mount this summer and need to get it sealed up. After looking at the West Marine catalog at the epoxy resins and hardener choices (several pages, kinda overwhelming), I decided to seek advice here.
Is epoxy the right choice?
If not what is?
If so, which kind?

I assume you made the "backing block" out of teak? I'm not aware of any epoxy products that are UV resistant. Cetol, made by Sikkens, would be a good choice for this application.
