Here are some photos of swing to wing conversions. I have alot more photos but I don't know how to condense them for easier transmission.

Chris, Frank, of course, gave you good advise. Sail her flat, but that is generally good advise for most boats. It looks like the job was well done, and the boat wing looks great on the bottom. I'm anxious to here how you feel about sailing her after you're back in the water.

Lookin' goooooooood.

Hi Doug,

The white is watergard 300 epoxy barrier coat from Progressive Epoxy Polymers, Inc. Thanks for the link you provided in response to my posted questions about barrier coats a couple of months ago. I was really impressed with the product and the company. It will be interesting to see how well it holds up. The boatyard painter was really impressed with this epoxy product as well.

Thanks again,

Hmmmm... I think I can do that project myself. Lift the boat in the barn where I've room and a concrete floor... set the keel on a pallet and use two heavy duty floor jacks to move it around and lift it in place...

Hi Clif,

I love the black hull as well. The PO had the hull painted with Interlux Interthane polyurethane paint. That was about 9 or 10 years ago(we have had the boat just over 8 years) It has held up really well and we found out it is fairly easy to touch up. I am sure some people would not be happy with the touch up we did recently but I was not ready for a complete new paint job.

Thanks,

Chris,

I like the hull color and , of course the wing. It really looks sharp. I've been thinking for a couple of years about painting mine. You have a good recommendation for Interlux, which is my preferred paint. So, . . ..
