Looks like we're going to redo the cushions. Has anyone used any of the Sunbrella fabrics for cushions?

No, but seems like somebody's mentioned it on this forum. I'd wonder WHY??? I just sewed new canvas sail/winch/tiller covers with the stuff. It's super for exterior work, but seems awfully COLD, stiff and uninviting for cushions, IMHO. I made simple "c

I mentioned it a few times... But I'm not talking about Sunbrella canvas--I'm talking about Sunbrella upholstery fabric, which comes in several finishes and many patterns. We used a soft, linen-style fabric that has a very nice look and feel. Any auto/

I've never worked with it, but was on a boat that had all the interior cushions done in Sunbrella upholstery fabric. The wife had made them. They were two years old when I saw them, had cruised the Inside Pass and Mexico and made it back to Puget Sound.

John: The machine is nothing much; it's an old PREMIER, whatever that means. My wife had it when we got married 20 years ago. I use heavy duty (for denim) needles and good thread and it does the job, although I don't think it will do leather patches,
