Santa was really good to me.

1. 11-watt solar panel
2. anchor roller
3. Pulpit mount for anchor
4. Sea Chef Force 10 propane grill
5. Mount for gill
6. Horseshoe bouy
7. Rack for horsehoe bouy
8. Chapman Piloting & Seamanship Book
9. Two lifeline hanging drink holders
10. Wind Wizard wind speed indicator

Now if I could only get my boat back!! Oh well, hopefully soon. Much of my X-mas list came from recommendations made on this board. Thanks everyone for their informal product reviews and recommendations.

That's great BEN.

Now all that's needed is a Buckeye victory over Kansas State.

You're right, PW. My Browns beat the Bungles, ending a pathetic year with a win. If my Bucks could finish strong too, it might make that Michigan loss seem not so unbearable.

Clothes and more clothes? CB & Coach, I learned long ago those are not X-mas presents. And Coach, no, you can't marry my wife. But it wasn't my wife who was Santa. My wife don't spend much for each other on X-mas, preferring to buy for my five brothers, their wifes, scads of kids, and most importantly, my parents. All that stuff for my boat came from my Momma Santa, and by associate, my Pappa Santa. Am I spoiled or what? And no, you can't marry my Ma either.

I can't believe no one else has gotten cool boat-related X-mas gifts! C'mon, tell us what cool things you got!

A new light air genoa (3.8 oz dacron) and a new hi-tech main halyard, and a new pair of sailing gloves (actually batting gloves - they work much better!).
I must have been VERY good this year...

Tidebook and underpants. Leaving the tiller pilot brochure
lying around had no effect whatsoever.

An electric toothbrush, and that is all.
But 3 weeks ago we chartered for a week in Charlotte Harbor FLA with SW Fla Yachts. So maybe the toothbrush was just something Santa thought we needed.

Gee guys, my Santa was really good to me. I got a new kayak for going into those places you want to sail into but they are too shallow. Also got a BEAUTIFUL watercolor of Bass Harbor light in Acadia N P, Maine.

Santa is finally starting to hear me......Except for gifts from my 5 and eleven year old children (I got them childrens books about sailing)I did not get anything.....and I did not give anything.

Long, long, time ago people got the children through a long dark winter (we don't have those anymore thanks to modern lighting, heating, and transportation)and bribed them to behave, with the anticipation of receiving a few (home made) toys. Running through a mall pi%%ing away money buying things no one needs for everyone you know, only to have them return half or all of it, is insane.....

This years total damage under $300.-

Now, where is that West Marine Catalog.......

Oscar, making BU's in San Antonio TX.

Ben,

Do you really think the Fiesta Bowl victory erases the sting of Michigan's victory? When the shoe is on the other foot, it doesn't!

Don, that Michigan loss surely does sting, and will not stop until next year when we beat them(hopefully!). It sure was nice to win the Fiesta Bowl again though. It was a nervous night, though, watching KSU pass on us at will. We are lucky they didn't have another quarter to play against us.

That would be the 8-5 Florida Gators, who were routed by the Big Ten's Iowa Hawkeyes 37-17 in the Outback Bowl. It was Iowa's first January win since 1959.

When you said, "Lets see, huh, who was that team that beat the team that whooped up on Oklahoma..huh!", I thought you were refering to Florida who beat LSU which whooped Oklahoma.

Hi Don,

I think PW is refering to Kansas State University, who beat the Oklahoma Sooners 35-7 (or something) in their conference championship game. Kansas State then fell to the Bucks in the Fiesta Bowl.

Ben,

After reading PW's puzzled response, I figured he was refering to Kansas State and not Florida.

Yep,

I was reffering to the regular season game.

I kind of wonder if the championship game should have been between LSU and USC. And then OSU and Big Blue could have slugged it out in some other bowl game.

I like the ribbing we give each other here because we keep it in the fun zone.

Did any of you see that ESPN guy say that, after the Michigan game, Ohio State couldn't score at the Playboy Mansion.

That's below the belt. It's no wonder us Buckeyes have such thick skin. A few of us have pretty big bellies too.

Hey Ben, Man I miss Tommy's pizza. Are they the best or what?

PW
