Hi All,

I go again to the well of nautical knowledge and recommendations. My dad has good friend whom he is having a hard time buying a Christmas present for. I know it's after the official day, but anyway...

My dad's friend often does cruising on the Great Lakes. Can anyone recommend a good boat cruising guide for the Great Lakes? This person, however, does not have a sailboat, but the other kind.
He has done a lot of cruising on Erie and Michigan, but not so much on the other lakes.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Lakeland Boating's "Ports O' Call" cruising guides are the best guides I've ever seen for the Great Lakes and I highly recommend them. They have one for each of the Great Lakes and they contain a wealth of information and cater to all boaters.

They can be purchased most anywhere, I bought mine from BoatUS.
