Santa was kind enough to bring us a new asymmetrical spinnaker for Christmas. The installation looks pretty straight forward except I'm having problems figuring out how to attach the tack line to the bow. The instructions say the tack should be in front of (outside of) the forestay. I need to have the tack line led aft to the cockpit for adjustment of the sail. Concern is how and where to attach a block at the base of the forestay. The boat is equipped with a CDI roller furler also. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Doug, Did Don's suggestion answer your question? I was going to suggest it as well. My sliding tack line system on Encore! does not have to work with a furler, as I am a hank on guy still.
Let me know if I can be of any assistance....It sounds like you are definitely on the right track!
I had the same problem with my assymetrical tack pennant block. The furling drum was too low for a block to go under it as in the above ATN tacker pic. I added a mini sprit I made out of SS flat bar when I was upgrading the bow stem fitting. It solved the problem.
osmepneo came with a block on the stem fitting that I use for the tack line. I haven't used my asymmetrical enough to have figured out how to run the line aft, So I've simply tied it off on a bow cleat. The pain of it is having to go forward to adjust it, but it wouldn't be a big deal to run the line aft to one of the cluthes that I don't use. For me it is a matter of doing it.
