I went to the show on saturday 1/26, and have I developed a new appreciation for my 1984 C-25. I was very un-impressed with the Cat 250 (never viewed one). The boat was a plain jane in my opinon. I did like the C-28 however.

Yes, aesthetically, the C-250 is something of a Clorox bottle... But up against its main competitors--Hunter and MacGregor, it stands out for quality and reasonably good looks. (The others look like they were made by Bayliner.) Of course the C-28 is ni

I too was at the Atlantic City show on Saturday. I had a great time. The C 250 there was a water ballast version. I have a wing keel and was surprise how much headroom you lose in the water ballast version. We probably wouldn't have bougth the WB mode

The C250s appeal probably varies by region of the country. Down here in the HOT south, we really value the large, open cockpit. The more open cabin is also preferred. When anchored in a cove on a 100 degree day, the kids love to use the boat as a swimm

I attended the show on Saturday 1/26 and thought they did a great job this year. I went specifically to check out the Beneteau 473 which I intend to charter this summer in the BVI. Usually I go for a 461, but the new model can be had with generator an A.C
