I actually found the exact replacement on the Internet last year. This sounds like a great price, but if someone wants to replace their door at a later time.....just do a Google search and you'll find one.
My door is in great shape. It's the track on the top that's cracked and doesn't keep the door in it. Any ideas where to get just the track? I never thought about a place like Home Depot until just now.

Hi Dave,
There was a track left in my boat where the door used to be, but I already gave it to someone else on the Forum ... 'sorry!
I would suggest you look at an RV supply place ... I got tracks for installing my curtains at an RV supply store, and they seemed to have quite a variety ... maybe they'll have one that will match the track you're trying to replace.
I asked the folks at Catalina Direct about replacements for the folding door last year because I didn't have a catalog and they said factory replacements are available for $125. They recommended giving some lead time because it was a special order item.
The Fleet Commander just ran across the door on eBay. She then voiced strong opposition to another season using the old Russian Naval flag as a door to the head. I thought this viewpoint was suspect and unreasonable, but the crew (11 & 12 year old girls) have decided to encourage the retirement of the flag also. So I feel it my duty to warn all possible bidders that I've heard the door currently on eBay may cause scurvy in the crew and blisters on the your hull. May also cause all Jimmy Buffet CDs to skip. Bid accordingly....
I just removed both of mine to open the space up. Granted my size had a lot to do with it, but a couple inches in those doorways is a big difference. I look forward to seasonal beach towels as curtains, it will be fun.
Hey! What happened to the door? I went to eBay to bid before the auction ended and it was gone. It's odd because things I bought on eBay weeks ago are still there, but the door comes up "no longer available." Oh well. Hope it found a nice Association home.

I was keeping an eye on this door too, but the listing disappeared a day or two ago.

Yep ... it "disappeared." I've bought over 500 items on eBay (I even bought Freya on eBay!), and occasionally auctions end early without warning.
Sometimes the seller claims that the item sold locally before the end of the eBay auction ... I've seen this happen many times with sailboats. I am always suspect that the seller is afraid he is about to sell an item at a "loss," so he claims the item is already sold and ends the auction early before he takes a bath.
Sometimes the seller is kicked off eBay for unscrupulous dealings ... in this case, everyone is probably better off. I've dealt with several bad sellers ... 'makes you want to track them down and rip their heads off.
Nevertheless, it's fun to buy things on eBay ... you can get some really good deals if you're patient.
I bid on the door. E-Bay withdrew the auction due to improper sales practices and the seller is no longer allowed to use e-bay. Glad they got him, I have been taken once before and it sucks If someone has a set or either complete door, slider and filler wood I am interested as I have guests all the time and the curtain does'nt offer the ladies the privacy they need. Thanks,

I've never had the doors in my boat, so I can't comment on how much privacy they provide. However, I CAN comment about heavy curtains 'cause I sewed some for my boat ... I think they work fine.
I've got two teenaged daughters, and I've had numerous lady friends on the boat ... they've never complained that the curtains weren't private enough ... to the contrary, they thought the curtains work well and look great.
If you are sure your family/friends won't like curtains, then I guess you're stuck with trying to find & buy replacement doors. On the other hand, the curtains are easy to sew, relatively cheap, and you can get the hardware to hang them at any RV store ...
I took out the original pleated cardboard door because it was old and falling apart. I now use tropical theme printed beach towels with a tubular curtain hem sewn along the "top" edge. I replaced the four outer upper #10 ovalhead bulkhead mounting screws with #10 stainless steel screw eyes, reusing the trim washers. I threaded about 1/8" nylon line through the curtain hem, the screw eyes, and tensioned it with a truckers hitch above the head. The curtains can slide out of the way to port, fore and aft of the head. So far, so good. As an added bonus, there are now two additional spare towels aboard. I use them to dry my hands when nobody is looking.
Hee,hee That really is the bigest problem with mine. They are on a spring loaded rod in between the opening and they don't cover the opening on the sides. They are really in the way unless we remove them. I like your salution that would work just fine. Thank you,
Another option for the head door is to buy a vinyl folding door from Home Depot and cut it to fit the door opening. I checked into these doors last month and the salesperson said that the doors can be easily cut to height with a hacksaw/coping saw. They come in a variety of colors, including wood tones, and are relatively inexpensive.
