I will be in New Orleans in May and would like to walk the docks and look at boats and maybe take out a bareboat. I can't really find anything on the Internet that deals with sailboat oriented activities. Can anyone recommend any marinas or clubs in the area? Thank you. Todd Frye
May 6-10 is our annual American Association of Museums convention, which will be held in New Orleans. Sounds kinda geeky, but I really look forward to it. Last year I met John Summers, Director of the Antique Boat Museum ( http://www.abm.org/General_info/About_us.htm ), and we talked sail boats till we couldn’t talk any more. One of the most memorable trips was to Victoria, B.C., with mandatory stops to look at boats in Port Townsend and Vancouver Island. Don't know if I can do it all, but the marinas (if I can find info), the music, the food and the sights are on my to do list. Come on spring. (It’s 5 degrees out this morning) Todd Frye
