They are all at the bottom of the main C25/250 web page (where you enter the forum). If you are a National Association member, enter your user name and password, and you can catch up on all the old business.
Jim: Do we use the same user name and password as we do for the general forum? I tried that and it didn't work for the Tell Tale...any advice of help is apprecaited. Thanks!
The answer to your question is NO. To address the TellTail section all members of the c25/250 NA use the same password and member name. When you join the NA you are sent a welcome letter with the password and member name.
Sorry Guys, I was talking about the "other" tell tails that flutter around on my sails. The only use I had for them last summer was to keep the birds away.

If they are up they are Getting too much air; come up into the wind more or let out the sail. If they are streaming back they are happy. If some are good and some are bad you need to play with the twist of your sail until they are all happy. First make sure your halyards are tight. Use the mainsheet and boom vang to play with the twist of the main and use car placement to play with the twist of your headsail. When you get them all perfect you will hear angels sing. edit Note JimB517's sig picture, the tell tails on his main look great. Usually you want two or three along the luff of your headsail and three along the leech of your main. The luff of a main is pretty easy to read without tell tails as is the leech of a headsail but some people have lots of rows of them all over the place.
OK, so how do I get a copy of this original letter so I can access the Tell Tale section. I must be the only one who has too many passwords, secret handshakes, access codes, pin numbers etc in their life to keep up with them. I'm just a sorry assed Luddite when it comes to computers

From the Mainsheet Contributing Editor John Gisondi
As members you are entitled to a subscription to the Mainsheet Magazine each year. The magazine comes out each February, May, August and November. Each association has room in the magazine for association activities and the “Fleet News” which lets the local fleets have a voice. The C25/C250 association has been very active in getting our members to contribute articles to the magazine. In this months issue (Feb. 04) we should have a terrific article by John Vining about a ten day sailing trip with his nine year old daughter in the Great Lakes. Past articles have included Steve Milby's "West Coast of Florida" (May 2002 pg-21) and "Learn to Race" (Feb. 2003 pg-19), Douglas Young's "Vashon Island" (Aug. 2002 pg-17), "West Coast Rendezvous" (Nov. 2002 pg-6), "Trailer Cruising" by Arlyn Stewart, (May 2003 pg-12). There are other shorter stories that made it into our pages as brief sidebars like the trip Herb and Lesley Tripp took from Chesapeake Bay to Florida and back. I combined excerpts from both of their logs for a 1000 word snapshot (Aug. 2002 pg-53). And of course Bryan Beamers account of winning the C250 Nationals with his Dad (Nov. 2003 Pg-59). I urge all the members to look in your log books for memorable stories and trips that show the rest of the Catalina community what great times can be had in our “Coastal Cruisers”. You stories are appreciated by the other members and keep the interest in our boats alive which of course helps keep the value up. Deadlines for the magazine are two months before publication and if they need work to make it in the magazine more time should be allowed. The magazine does not take every article I send in and our pages have a very limited space to get all the association business in as well as the “Fleet News” so think about the best of your sailing adventures and let’s get the word out about Catalina 25’s and 250’s. We have the best small cruisers out there and allot of you are doing some terrific sailing. Jot your thoughts down and together we can get your stories published. Talking about the “Fleet News” we have a couple of new fleets and all of us would like to see the local fleets build in strength. So … Fleet Captains be sure to get me some copy for each issue that tells us about your activities and membership. We will be a stronger association with your help. Thank you, John Gisondi Mainsheet Contributing Editor C25.C250 National Association Jg949@hotmail.com

Don't worry Gloss, I too don't have the secret handshake letter at my diposal. If any one knows how I can get this info, please let me know. Chris
The testing forum opens with a sticky, how to post pictures. Print it, and follow the instructions, it works!
Basically you need to upload the picture on a site like shutterfly.com, and then in your document refer to the id listed in properties, between which you get from the 6th button from the left, labeled "Insert Hyperlink".
If you follw those instructions, it will work and you will post you pictures, big or thumbnails.
Access to the TellTail section is limited to c25/250 NA members. I will check the database when I get to my other home, and if you are there I'll send you the information - the member name to use and the password.
I'm sorry about the inconvienance, but this is the ways been set up to protect the member only section(s) of the web page.
Like the some others I don't recall ever getting a letter with a password and pin on it. I get Mainsheet but don't have an access name and code. Can you advise?
