Just received our spring news letter from SEBYC and we have successfully qualified and have formed Fleet #43!

Due to lots of time and work by Bill Meinert, this was accomplished
over the past few months. The push for a fleet at our club began
when our club hosted the 2003 Nationals on Lake Wawasee.

Bill spent quite a bit of time putting it all together.

Now we just begin the countdown to getting the boat back
in the water!

Congratulations.
Who is your fleet Captain?
Please be sure to get a paragraph to me about your new fleet by the end of the month so you will be included in the “Fleet News” in the May Mainsheet. Yes deadlines are 2 months before publication.
I will be asking the Fleet Captain to send me some copy each quarter for inclusion in the Mainsheet.

John, Coach (Kris Underwood)is Fleet Captain and they have an active schedule for 2004 planned. I'll send that and other information to you next week when I'm in Schenectady.

Each quarter I ask all the fleet captains to write a paragraph or so about their fleet and the activities they have done, cruises, races, social and charity events etc. and about the their up coming plans. There isn’t a lot of space so I ask that you be brief but include the highlights. Since your fleet is new you might say a few words about how and why you got organized and what you hope to accomplish.
Copy is due the first of March.
