as per the owners manual the standard rig main halyard is 83' 0" and the jib halyard is 76' 0", both are made up from 5/16" low stretch.

Rick - those seem a little long to me! My main halyard (wire/rope combo) goes from furled main to masthead, back to the deck and comes back to the cockpit with about 2' for a tail and the whole thing is only 70' long...and I have a Tall Rig!! The jib haly

i was just going by what the manual had listed. i thought it was a bit long also. but, i'd rather have a little extra than be short.

I changed over to internal all rope halyards last winter. I used 3/8" Sta-set X (maybe a little overkill, but the 3/8" seemed a comfortable diameter to handle). I made the main 70' and the jib halyard 75'; I like to be able to clip the jib to the bow some

I have roller furling, so I guess that I probably will not lead the jib halyard aft to the cockpit, just to the mast base cleats. The only lines I'll be running aft are the main halyard and a main downhaul, so I'm assuming for the main halyard length, dou
