I am considering a Doyle main with their stack pack/lazy jack system. I chartered in the BVI ...the beneteau I chartered had one. It was great...any experience with the Catalina 25 Pierre
I have a friend with one on an O'Day 270 and he loves it, It's sail cover is integral with it. He lets go the halyard and snaps it closed... done! He cleaned my clock on a broad reach so I assume it is not hurting him much.
yes, works very well with lazy jacks. pricey though...about $1600 for sail with stack pack system and lazy jacks. includes fully battened, numbers insignia etc.
This will eventually be as popular as furlers in my opinion unless of course you race and hank on head sails etc.
